COMMISSION TERMS
By commissioning me via inquiry or Ko-fi, you're agreeing to the terms of service listed below.

general
Commissions accepted via form and Ko-fi. Main contact is email and Ko-fi DM. I prefer not use social media messengers such as Twitter as those get buried easily.
I like to sketch and experiment. My art will reflect this. Not every pixel will be perfect. Please do not ask me to draw in another art style or my old style (2021 prior)
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a commission for any reason. Clients may be refunded and blacklisted if they are rushing, harassing, or disrespecting boundaries.
I use Trello to keep track of paid work. Find my queue here or the top right button.

process & delivery
Please fill the google / ko-fi form with all information requested. For Google forms: These are NOT first come first serve, I will contact you if I accept it.
A visual reference is required for what you'd like me to draw. It can be anything! I reserve the right to interpret your character in my own style
(ie. shapes and color adjustments to suit any backgrounds. I will not attempt to make your character unrecognizable).I usually send 2 WIPs. a rough sketch for your approval, then a preview of the final. You are more than welcome to ask me for more WIP stages, such as the flat colors.
I strongly encourage you ask for any major changes you'd like once I've sent the sketch. EXAMPLES: Pose, expressions, big things that I have to redraw.You get 1 free redo of a rough sketch, any more requested are +$40 each (I may do multiple sketches at my own discretion. These & pixel art do not count :D)
After this, I will accept changes based on things that I have forgotten or missed, such as markings or accessories. This comes at no extra fee as long as the information was included in the original reference sheet or description in the commission form.
Excessive revision requests may result in extra charges at my own discretion, depending on the amount of work required.No further changes after the piece has been deemed complete by myself and the client unless there was an error on my end.
Parts of the character may be cropped out for dynamic compositions. I will try my best for you, but if your mindset is getting "your money's worth", I suggest we don't work together.
Generally, please have a clear idea of what you want. Artistic freedom is welcome, but I work MUCH better with some direction.
Files are usually sent via email or a file hosting link such as dropbox, google drive, etc.I may leave my files uploaded for months, years even. However, you are responsible for your own copies of the finished commission. Should you lose your copy down the line, you are welcome to ask me for it, though I can't always guarantee that I will happen to have it.
NOTE: SAI2/PSD files are only available for sketch, reference or custom character commissions.
payments & refunds
All payments accepted through Paypal or Ko-fi. Commissions must be paid in full before I start working on anything.
Payment plans are welcome but require a deposit of 10-15% of the total in order to secure the slot. You can also request an extention on your invoice if you need one!
Tips and payment plan deposits are nonrefundable.
Prices are subject to change at any time. I do not bill or reimburse differences to clients.
You reserve the right to cancel the commission before payment has been sent.
If a refund must be issued, you will receive a partial to full refund. Refund amounts may vary, determined by how much work I have done at the time of issue.
I will provide a full refund if I am personally unable to complete your commission. Completed commissions are NOT eligible for a refund.
I will not compensate, nor can I expedite, fees or processing times imposed on refunds by the payment service provider. (Paypal / Transfer fees)
If you chargeback me, well, uh. I'll be very sad. In the event this actually happens to me it will just be a loss and I'll recycle whatever I was working on.
turnaround
ETA 1 week minimum, up to 4-5 months depending on commission size, queue, and personal factors. If I happen to end up taking longer than Buyer's Protection (6 months), you reserve the right to a cancellation and full refund, provided the commission hasn't been finished.
I do not work on my queue in any particular order, some commissions may require more time, effort, or extra feedback.
NO DEADLINES. Please inquire with me far in advance so we can both have a pleasant experience!
I draw on a motivation-basis. This is not a full-time thing for me. Please do NOT commission me if you do not like slow or inconsistent ETA. Thank you.
art usage & uploading
ALLOWED
You can post it to your own social, OC gallery, use for icon/header, whatever
Remove my watermark/signature for personal prints or wallpaper purposes.
Alter/Print the commissioned artwork for Personal/Non-Commercial use
Color in sketch commissions or have another artist do it.
NOT ALLOWED
Do not use the art with intention of profit without inquiring with me first.
Please do not use artwork meant for other people, or claim their art/my personal art as fanart, your OC, RP...whatever
While not mandatory, I really do appreciate being credited. I go by Waverlied/Waver just about everywhere.I will freely assume that I can upload the art publicly or to my Patreon. I usually post lower quality, watermarked versions of commissions. However, I may also upload the full res version to my patreon/discord. If this makes you uncomfortable, reach out to me! I will make sure that the full res artwork is exclusive to you.If you would like your commission to be private for a temporary period (such as birthday gifts), let me know and I will honor it.
For a commission to be private indefinitely, I may request a fee.If you wish to purchase all or certain rights to the piece, please contact me for pricing.
I will not resell commissioned works for profit without written consent. The only exception is repurposing unused WIP sketches and abandoned or cancelled commissions so long as I replace the character. You do not own rough sketches you did not pay me to finish, unless I state otherwise.Lastly, please do not try "remind" me to post your commission to my social media, this type of pressure generally makes me uncomfortable, as I personally just choose not to upload every single drawing I make.
An Extra Note...
Since most of my work is not FCFS, I generally do not care to "background check" my clients, I will happily work with you so long as you respect me and my artistic boundaries.

ADOPT/DESIGN TERMS
These terms apply to any character design, or "adoptables" made by myself, whether they were sold, traded, or gifted to you
Toyhou.se accounts are not mandatory for my adopts, so please take care when trading.
general use
Use the adopt for whatever you want, I just appreciate being credited for the design and/or art
Feel free to edit the design, I just advise keeping a copy of the original file.
Move my watermarks if needed for things like icon or PNG, but please don't remove it from the original
Please do not host "species" with my creature designs. If you say, use a design by me for a MYO (that you own), this is fine.
payments and auctions
Payments via Paypal/Ko-fi only. To avoid scams, please double check any DMs you get from me, as I typically ask people to contact me first for sales and auctions.
I will not accept refunds or exchanges.
Auction-style OTA typically last 24-48 hours, or 12-24 hours after the last bid. I can close for offers at my own discretion (I'm not required to notify every single bidder when they've been outbid via DM. Please do not get upset with me for this as it overwhelms me).
Payment plans only available if the total is $300 or more.

Symmetrical Reference [ $150 ]
â–¸ By default, there is a front and back symmetrical view, as well as an optional headshot. Can be in a simpler style or my normal style.
â–¸ You can also decide to go without a back view and use the second view for a clothed version or alternate form.

For a CUSTOM OC, It is +$50 ($200 total).

How do i commission you?
I open fairly sporadically. I'm not the type to accept them on demand unless it's something I'm interested in.
If you see my google form or ko-fi slots available, then I am open! I usually announce on Toyhou.se and Discord first. Assume I'm closed otherwise.
How do I know if you accepted my form?
I will contact you through email.
Ko-fi slots are First Come First Serve! Those don't need to worry about this.
Can I request something outside of your options?
Depends, but I'm generally open to hearing all ideas! Just please try to keep it within bounds of what I'm comfortable drawing (seen on my TOS)
Can you DM me when you open?
No, sorry. I don't want to juggle between socials with how infrequent I open. I did make a discord server with ping role for commissions and adopts though, if you'd like.
I haven't heard from you in a while. Can I get an update?
Absolutely! Just know that I prefer to approach clients when I actually have something to show for it. I hate to feel like I'm giving excuses for my absence. Though, if you'd like to make a request, cancel, or have a new idea for your commission, reach out to me regardless

Yes..no..maybe, maybe not. I'm happy to share my tools; though art style questions overwhelm me quickly. I don't want to be rude! But I honestly just don't know how to answer.
Do you do art trades?
Those are only open to mutuals and people I know. Please note, I take very frequent breaks for my health.
Do you take free art requests?
No, but I welcome suggestions (fandom or my oc) on tumblr and occasionally offer these to my Patrons.
